KUEHN FELLOWS OVERVIEW

Kuehn Fellows

The goals of the Kuehn Fellows program are twofold: to inspire and equip women and men at the start of their careers to follow Bob Kuehn’s vision and vocation in affordable housing, and to add to the capacity of Massachusetts non-profit affordable housing organizations. Fellows serve in positions with vetted non-profit affordable housing organizations located in Massachusetts, acquire hands-on experience working with committed supervisors and have access to an experienced mentor. Fellows also attend monthly gatherings sponsored by the Foundation to share experiences and learn more about the field from practitioners and governmental officials.

Current fellows and host organizations were chosen following a competitive application process with selection by the trustees and a group of advisors from the community development field.

The 2017 Fellows start two-year placements in July, 2017.  The process for selecting the next cohort will begin in late 2018 for a summer, 2019 start.  Please check back here for information.
